END OF LIFE PROCESS

Death is often regarded as a medical failure and what goes on may override the care for the soul in transition. We have lost our ability to talk openly around death and this can cause extreme loneliness for the dying. It is possible to make death peaceful, intimate and a positive experience. As more and more evidence is mounting that death does not mean ‘over’, there is a new potential which is to die alive, connected and part of the process rather than as a patient, wasting precious time in avoidance of an inevitable and possibly feared outcome.

Sometimes all that is needed is someone to talk to, a chance to be open and not have to pretend for the sake of anybody else. Sometimes things and people need sorting. Be they practical or emotional, tying up loose ends is part of this.
